Principal’s Message: October 2026

Dr. Oakley families,

As we move through October, I want to take a moment to thank our families for your ongoing support and partnership. A special thank you goes to the parents, guardians, and family members who have volunteered their time for our casino. Your commitment and generosity help support opportunities and resources that benefit all of our students. The funds raised pay for field trips, residencies, technology, art supplies and so much more! We are truly grateful for your involvement in our school community.

On October 9, Individualized Program Plans (IPPs) were sent home for students with identified learning targets. We encourage families to review these documents carefully, as they provide important information about your child's strengths, goals, and supports. If you require an additional copy of your child's IPP, please contact the school office and we will be happy to provide one. If you have any questions, concerns, or would like to discuss your child's plan further, please reach out. We would be pleased to arrange a meeting or phone call to support you in understanding and contributing to your child's learning plan.

Looking ahead, our next Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place on November 26 and 27. These conferences provide a valuable opportunity to connect, celebrate student growth, and discuss next steps for learning. More information regarding conference bookings will be shared in the coming weeks.

Thank you for all you do to support your children and our school community. Together, we continue to create a positive and successful learning environment for our students.

Warm regards,

Chantel Crosby
Principal
